As a Technician, you're one of the people who keeps Your 3rd Spot running. While much of your work happens behind the scenes, every repair, inspection, and preventative check helps create a seamless experience for our guests.

What You'll Do

As a Technician, you'll help create exceptional experiences by:

• Inspecting gaming equipment and facility systems to ensure they're safe, clean, and guest ready
• Performing preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life
• Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing arcade games, attractions, facility equipment, and building systems
• Responding quickly to operational issues while minimizing guest disruption
• Communicating equipment status and repair progress clearly with the leadership team
• Supporting guests with friendly, professional communication when technical issues affect their experience
• Maintaining organized workspaces, tools, inventory, and maintenance records
• Taking ownership of projects from identification through resolution

What We're Looking For

We hire people with curiosity, ownership, and a desire to learn.

Preferred qualifications include:

• Mechanical, electrical, maintenance, or technical experience is preferred but not required
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Ability to use hand tools and basic diagnostic equipment safely
• Ability to work at least 30 hours each week
• Day, evening, weekend, and holiday availability based on business needs
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
• Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift
• Professional appearance that meets company grooming and uniform standards
• Commitment to workplace safety and operational excellence

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to work a minimum of 30 hours per week.
• Day, evening, weekend, and holiday availability based on business needs.
• Availability for special events
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.
• Comfortable working in a fast paced, high energy environment.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and adapt quickly during busy service periods.
• Team oriented with a positive attitude and a willingness to give and receive coaching.
