You will be responsible for the "whole child" approach, from initial assessments to the supervision of behavior technicians, all while working within a collaborative school system. You are required to have timely Medicaid billing for services and prompt data collection on student behaviors. Task Completion Provide direct student instruction, and assist staff with implementation, in one-on-one and group settings. Follow prescribed behavior skills acquisition and behavior change protocols. Assist with preparing materials as necessary. Prepare, collect, analyze data on observable student behavior. Use data to assist with implementation of skill acquisition and behavioral assessments. Document interventions, progress data, and observation notes Keep records in a timely and accurate manner including, but not limited to, Medicaid, session notes, student attendance, and communication logs, Lead training for staff and families as directed by the BCBA. Demonstrate reliability (attendance, punctuality, meeting deadlines) Demonstrate skill and proficiency in carrying out assignments. Possess skills and knowledge to perform the job competently, including but not limited to planning organizing prioritizing workload ability to work independently self accountability for assigned responsibilities timely task completion Maintain certification/license via accumulation of continuing education credits. Implement crises/emergency procedures according to protocol. Other duties as assigned. Collaboration and Communication Report to Behavior Support Coordinator regarding student progress and to gain training and understanding of behavior support protocols. Communicate with staff regarding student progress as instructed by the BCBA. Collaborate with school teams and contribute to IEPs and meetings as necessary. Communicate effectively with supervisor, peers, and stakeholders Demonstrate ability to work cooperatively with supervision or as part of a team Possess adeptness at analyzing facts, problem solving, decision making, and demonstrating good judgment Display fairness towards all colleagues and students Instructional Responsibilities Work with students individually and in small groups to reinforce basic learning and implement assigned programs. Assist in classroom preparations and strategies for reinforcing instructional materials and skills according to individual student needs. Assist with record-keeping procedures to document student learning and performance. Assist students in non-instructional areas, such as supervising the student lunch programs, bus duty, playground duty, corridor, study hall, and other related non-instructional areas as assigned. Accompany students on field trips for the purpose of assisting with supervision. Support all schoolwide and classroom instructional and behavioral supports. Clinical Oversight & Program Success Assist/implement comprehensive initial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans. Plan, manage, and coordinate staff efforts to achieve the objectives of the client's IEP/. Implement program curricula and ensure overall clinical effectiveness. Manage, record, and report daily data regarding client status and progress. Bill Medicaid in a timely manner. Provide high-quality training and supervision to Behavior Technicians. Work under the supervision of a BCBA to meet BACB requirements. Provide direct services and coaching to clients and their parents to ensure generalization of skills. Prepare annual reports evaluating program effectiveness and making data-driven recommendations. Provide direct services and coaching to students' and their parents to ensure generalization of skills. Prepare annual reports evaluating program effectiveness and making data-driven recommendations.

Certification: Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) credential (Required). Education: BCaBA: Bachelor's degree in a related field (Required). Experience: Proven experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or behavioral challenges using ABA methodologies. Recommended; Experience working in a school setting.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Ability to lift and/or carry 25 lbs. Ability to work at a desk, conference table or in meetings of various configurations. Ability to see for the purpose of reading laws and codes, rules and policies and other printed matter. Ability to hear and understand speech at normal levels.
