Registered Dental Hygienist

Job Description Job Description Our organization, a multi-specialty dental group with a focus on periodontics, is seeking a full-time Dental Hygienist to join our team. Work Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:45 AM to 5:00 PM. We are also open to candidates interested in a part-time schedule of two days per week. Position Overview: The role of the Dental Hygienist is vital in delivering periodontal treatments and hygiene services aimed at enhancing patients' oral health. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about dentistry and dedicated to providing exceptional care consistently. Key Responsibilities: Assess overall oral health by examining the oral cavity for indications of periodontal disease or potential cancers, such as sores, bleeding gums, and oral lesions. Document patients' dental histories or primary concerns; accurately record and communicate relevant observations and patient responses to the dental team; track lab procedures and ensure follow-up on results. Implement oral hygiene procedures as outlined in treatment plans from the supervising Dentist. This may include prophylaxis, periodontal scaling, root planing, debridement, Arestin application, fluoride treatments, and protective sealant applications. Provide assistance or initiate emergency protocols for unexpected complications during patient treatment. Please share your salary expectations and available working days.
