Infusion Pharmacy Technician

Job Ref: JR-8153 Location: 300 Boylston St, CHESTNUT HILL, MA 02459 Category: Pharmacy Employment Type: Per Diem Infusion Pharmacy Technicians are an integral part of the Pharmacy Department in the mission to support patient care and research. Our technicians prepare complex preparations to treat cancer in a state of the art clean room compliant with USP and . Sterile Compounding of hazardous/non-hazardous commercial and investigational medications. Participates in continual process improvement work flows. Inventory management and medication tracking. Performs various regulatory and quality control tasks. “ The significant role I have as a Infusion Pharmacy Technician is working in a cleanroom, sterile compounding medications for our patients. This type of work requires great skill and attention to detail. I work with a team of healthcare professionals that I can learn from and I am encouraged to take on new and challenging opportunities, which makes this a very rewarding career! ” Qualifications High school graduate or currently enrolled in an accredited entry-level degree program for pharmacy or a related field. Massachusetts Board of Pharmacy Registration as a Pharmacy Technician or Intern. National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB) must be obtained within 1 year of the start date. Prior work experience as a pharmacy technician required. Availability to work a rotating schedule. “ Why do I come to work with a smile on my face every day?
