Now hiring for a Material Handler Location: Chester, SC Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour Monday through Thursday 6am to 4:30pm Looking for Material Handler jobs in Chester where every shift keeps products moving? This opportunity lets you handle materials safely, support warehouse operations, and help ensure inventory reaches the right place at the right time. Education Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and adhere to workplace safety standards. Basic understanding of production and manufacturing processes is a plus. Experience Requirements 3+ years of machine operator experience in a manufacturing environment Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to safety, quality, and productivity. Physical Capabilities Able to lift 40 lbs. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, stoop, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods. Ability to manually shovel product and perform other physically demanding tasks. Comfortable working in a labor-intensive production environment. Ability to safely stack and palletize finished products. Job Duties Monitor production equipment and machinery during operation to ensure efficient performance. Change and replace product bags as they become full during the production process. Manually shovel product into bags and prepare materials for shipment or storage. Box finished products as they move down the production line. Stack, organize, and palletize packaged products according to company standards. Inspect products and packaging for quality and accuracy. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Follow all company safety procedures, production guidelines, and supervisor instructions.
