Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat06:30 AM - 02:30 PM How This Role Works: Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed. Responsibilities: Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners while carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate campus personnel and/or emergency responders when needed. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns. Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazards, damaged property, or policy violations in accordance with site procedures. Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain professional communication with campus stakeholders and Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements: At least two years of security-related experience is required. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Must be 21 years of age or older Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
