Position Title: Adjunct Lecturer, History(PooledPosting) Req ID: R0002665 Time Type: Part time Location: Waltham, MA Description: Job Description Summary Bentley University is always seeking qualified candidates forfuture openings as Adjunct Lecturers in the History Department. Minimum Qualifications A master's degree in History is required. Candidates must alsohave the ability to use or willingness to learn course managementand delivery software such as Blackboard and Zoom. Preferred Qualifications A Ph.D. in History and experience teaching the subject arehighly desired. The ability to deliver courses in a variety of formats(including hybrid and online) is desirable, too. Salary Range: Compensation for adjunct faculty is governed by the collectivebargaining agreement between Bentley University and the ServiceEmployees International Union (SEIU) Local 509. For the 2025–26 academic year, adjunct faculty are compensatedat a rate of $7,225.00 per course. Courses with labs and other four-credit courses shall will becompensated at a higher minimum rate of $9,333.00 per course.
