Provide high-quality emergency nursing care in a fast-paced hospital emergency department. Collaborate with healthcare team members to assess, treat, and discharge adult and pediatric patients efficiently and compassionately. Responsibilities:
- Assess and prioritize incoming emergency patients promptly and accurately.
- Administer treatments, procedures, and medications in accordance with hospital protocols.
- Communicate clearly with patients and families, providing detailed discharge instructions.
- Document patient care activities thoroughly using the MEDITECH system.
- Maintain readiness by adhering to unit policies, including certification and dress code standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of emergency nursing experience.
- Ability to perform advanced procedures such as intubations, lumbar punctures, and closed reductions.
- Strong communication skills and patient-centered approach.
- Ability to assess, treat, and manage adult and pediatric emergency patients effectively.
- Flexibility to work every other weekend with 12-hour shifts.
