Contract Attorney (1-5 Years PQE) | Hybrid in Plano, TX

Adams & Martin Group is partnering with a respected and well-established law firm in Plano, TX to identify a Contract Associate Attorney (1-5 Years PQE) for its growing practice. The firm represents a diverse portfolio of institutional and business clients in matters involving financial services, creditor rights, and related litigation. Responsibilities

• Review case files, demand letters, legal correspondence, and supporting documentation for accuracy and issue identification.
• Conduct title reviews and perform legal research to support active matters.
• Draft and revise correspondence, pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Communicate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and other parties regarding case status and developments.
• Analyze legal and procedural issues, provide recommendations, and assist with case strategy.
• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to manage workflow, meet deadlines, and maintain accurate matter documentation.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active Texas Bar license in good standing.
• 1-5 years' post-qualification experience (PQE).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Professional, adaptable, and highly coachable; experience in bankruptcy, financial services litigation, creditor rights, or related practice areas is a plus.
