TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, 53916!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: PCU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (18:30 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in med/surg and PCU required. License: RN license required Certifications: BLS and ACLS required (AHA only) Must-Have: Must pass a telemetry exam prior to assignment start. Description: Nights, 12-hour shifts from 18:30 to 07:00. Weekend rotation is required along with every other holiday. Standby call is needed as required. Candidates must have at least 2 years of RN experience in med/surg and PCU. Occasional ICU patients will be seen in this position. If this is a first-time traveler role, candidates must have at least 3 years of experience in a hybrid unit. There is a possibility of a 4x12 shift schedule if the candidate works more weekends. The traveler must have an RN license and current BLS and ACLS certification. Candidates will be required to pass a telemetry exam before starting the assignment. The telemetry exam requires 100% identification of lethal rhythms and a passing score of 80% or higher. It is essential for candidates to have strong foundational skills in PCU for success in this blended unit. The role involves caring for patients with various acuity levels. Staffing and scheduling may require flexibility, including floating as needed. Candidates should be able to accommodate different patient ratios based on acuity. This position requires the use of bedside shift reporting and hourly rounding. The unit provides interdisciplinary support services, including respiratory therapy and social services. Candidates should be prepared to manage diverse medical diagnoses and procedures. Special equipment, such as vents, may be used occasionally.
