Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech, language, and swallowing evaluations and intervention programs.
• Use augmentative and alternative communication devices for effective patient communication strategies.
• Collaborate with medical, nursing, and multidisciplinary teams to address patients' needs and improve outcomes.
• Participate in patient and family education to enhance care and recovery.
• Maintain accurate records and document patient progress using Epic charting system.
• Ensure compliance with hospital standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Current CCC-SLP certification required.
• Active BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience, with at least 1 year in a hospital setting.
• Experience in pediatric outpatient, rehab, or PICU preferred.
• Experience with teaching hospital environments required.
• Proficiency in Epic charting system preferred.
