Overview

Here's what's required, at every level:

• Flexibility. We're a new department and a new offering. We want to be different, from our model to the way we think about content. But we're still building the proposition—and we'll often have to roll up our sleeves and figure it out together.
• A start-up mindset. While we live in the Publicis Groupe ecosystem, we're also forging a new path. That means getting scrappy and inventive.
• Experience (or interest in) hybrid roles. We don't use a traditional agency model with concrete roles for account, strategy and creative. Instead, our job descriptions are intentionally blurred, encompassing a combination of elements that could include strategy, ideation, execution, writing, creating, and managing client relationships. We believe that everyone has a range of abilities and ideas and we try to build roles to match the interests and talents of our team members.
• Curiosity. About content. About technology. About how they can come together. We don't expect you to know it all now, but we hope you want to learn.
• Team mentality. The way we succeed as a new department is by working together, having each other's back, collaborating, and communicating—and also by having fun.

Responsibilities

• Research, test, and implement generative AI tools and workflows for video, image, and motion production
• Prototype and document AI-enabled production pipelines to support internal teams and client work
• Collaborate with editors, creatives, and producers to integrate new tools into active projects
• Organize and standardize workflows to improve efficiency and creative flexibility
• Create internal training materials and knowledge-sharing resources
• Support R&D initiatives focused on emerging platforms, real-time systems, and creative technology

Tactical Skills

• Hands-on experience with generative AI platforms, node-based workflows, and creative tooling ecosystems
• Working knowledge of 3D, animation, and motion pipelines (modeling, rigging, animation, texturing, simulation)
• Ability to prototype lightweight tools, demos, or UIs to visualize workflows
• Comfort working across video, interactive, and experimental media
• Clear technical communication for non-technical creative partners

• Manage up. While this role will provide some opportunity to work more independently and take ownership of projects, use your manager as a sounding board. This means knowing when to elevate a problem, asking for guidance, getting a second set of eyes on something, but always coming to the table with a proposed solution
• Mentor the next generation. As a Creative Technologist, you have a fresh perspective on what it takes to make the next leap in your career. Seek out the Associate Creative Technologists on the team and be their sounding board, as you were in their shoes not too long ago!

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in creative technology, AI production, interactive media, or digital production environments
• Background in art + technology, design, computer graphics, or related fields, or equivalent practical experience
• Experience working in agency, studio, or production settings preferred
• Demonstrated interest in AI, emerging media, and future-facing creative workflows

Compensation Range: USD $73,150.00 - USD $112,554.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
