Hourly Pay Range - $25-28/hr

About the Role:


The Warehouse Worker supports all receiving, shipping, and inventory activities to ensure efficient and compliant warehouse operations. This position plays a critical role in handling and storing food products from the manufacturing department while following all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Food Safety policies, and Safety procedures. Responsibilities include preparing orders, receiving and processing goods, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring that all tasks are completed in compliance with quality assurance (QA) standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments, ensuring compliance with QA, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and food safety requirements.
• Prepare and package orders for delivery, following established safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Perform regular inventory counts and assist in maintaining accurate stock records.
• Follow operational procedures for verifying incoming shipments, product handling, and warehouse inventory accuracy.
• Handle materials in a way that prevents contamination or damage, including proper storage of food items.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all times.
• Operate and maintain warehouse equipment, including forklifts, in a safe and compliant manner.
• Record daily operations and promptly report discrepancies or quality concerns to supervisors.
• Assist with the distribution of materials or products to designated areas.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet operational and quality goals.
• Adhere to all workplace safety rules, GMP standards, and food safety protocols.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, especially in QA and food safety compliance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Experience operating forklifts (certification may be required).
• Good communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
• Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred, particularly in food-handling environments.
• Knowledge of inventory management, food storage requirements, and GMP compliance is a plus.
• Experience with NetSuite is strongly preferred but not required.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish

Preferred:

• Seeking candidates with experience in high-volume shipping, logistics, and fulfillment environments, preferably within fast-paced operations such as Amazon, Costco, Walmart, or similar large-scale distribution companies.
• Hands-on experience in shipping, order fulfillment, inventory accuracy, and customer order processing, along with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced warehouse setting.
