Responsibilities Assess patient needs, develop recovery plans, and deliver occupational therapy to help patients regain independence. Design individualized programs to restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities and independence. Provide education to patients and caregivers on skills that promote independence and productivity. Collaborate with peers, provide referrals, and adapt to varied settings and patient needs. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards. Initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
