What you’ll do Project Planning:Develop comprehensive project plans that outline key tasks, milestones, timelines, and deliverables to keep everyone aligned. Risk Management:Keep an eye on the big picture to identify potential bottlenecks (like budget constraints or delays) and implement proactive, creative solutions to mitigate them. Communication & Stakeholder Management:Lead engaging progress meetings and provide regular, clear status updates to executives, clients, and team members. Quality Control:Monitor ongoing progress and ensure our final deliverables consistently meet high organizational standards and client expectations. Engineering Review:Review engineering drawings and prints with a keen eye for quality and constructability. Pole Attachment Application Submission and Tracking:Ability to submit and track pole attachment applications through the lifecycle, from make-ready engineering to construction completion. Bridge the Gap:Identify engineering issues early and work to create a seamless, collaborative feedback loop between our engineering and construction teams. Project Logistics:Create desktop takeoff sheets and submit purchase order requests to keep field teams equipped. Executive Visibility:Help design, create, and support weekly slide decks for executive reviews, showcasing our team's wins and progress. What you’ll need Leadership & Collaboration:A proven ability to motivate cross-functional teams, build consensus, and delegate tasks effectively. Top-Notch Communication:Exceptional verbal and written communication skills—you know how to tailor your message to everyone from field techs to executives. Problem-Solving Prowess:Sharp critical thinking and quick decision-making abilities when faced with shifting project needs. Industry Foundations:A solid, basic understanding of both aerial and underground construction methods. Permitting & Utility Experience:Hands-on experience submitting pole attachment applications and successfully navigating/receiving permits from various municipalities. Education & Experience:A Bachelor’s degree in a related fieldOR5+ years of relevant, hands-on work experience. Tech Savvy:Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint to manage data and build clean presentations. Leadership Track Record:Previous supervisory and/or managerial experience. The Basics:Legal authorization to work in the United States, and the successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and motor vehicle record check. 3–5 years of dedicated OSP aerial engineering and construction experience. Specific regional work experience in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, or Montana. Direct experience working withTelecomFiber companiessystems and standards.
