About the Position

Job Title: Multimodality Technologist Profession: Multimodality Tech Specialty: Multimodality Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in CT and X-ray License: Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) license required Certifications: BLS (AHA Only), ARRT (R), ARRT (CT) Must-Have: Experience in stroke and trauma Self-sufficient and able to work independently overnight Experience with specific imaging equipment preferred Description: The Multimodality Technologist performs imaging procedures in multiple disciplines. Procedures are conducted on ambulatory and hospital patients as requested by licensed providers. The role involves high-quality imaging procedures performed timely according to established protocols. Adherence to radiation dose reference levels and monitoring is essential. Understanding proper use of relevant point-of-care testing methods is required. Utilizing effective communication techniques with patients is a key responsibility. The technologist prepares patients and areas for procedures while using appropriate settings and exposure factors. Safety and infection-control protocols must be followed. Proper maintenance of equipment and work areas is expected. Collaborating with engineers and physicists to ensure optimal equipment operation is necessary. Inventory management of supplies and relevant documentation is part of the role. Maintaining medical imaging records in accordance with policies and procedures is required. The technologist must provide excellent customer service, ensuring patient comfort and satisfaction. Continued education and knowledge in appropriate care for all age groups is essential. The ability to serve as a preceptor for new team members is valued. Taking call may be necessary.
