Responsibilities

• Conduct initial evaluations and develop individual PT plans for residents in a skilled nursing setting.
• Implement therapy interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, ROM, gait, and functional independence.
• Monitor patient progress, document treatment notes, and adjust plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, safety, and fall-prevention strategies.
• Ensure compliance with clinical documentation, regulatory requirements, and facility protocols while maintaining high standards of patient care.

Requirements

• Active Physical Therapist license in the United States; Maine licensure eligibility or transfer may be required.
• Ability to work effectively in a long-term care setting and follow established care plans.
• Experience in rehabilitative services within skilled nursing or similar settings is preferred.
• Availability to commit to a 13-week travel assignment with guaranteed 35 hours per week.
