We are hiring an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist for a hospital in Asheville, NC. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders. This role requires clinical proficiency across respiratory modalities and collaboration with interdisciplinary care teams to support acute and critical care populations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science.
• Current state Respiratory Therapist license in good standing.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
• Minimum one year of experience as an RRT, preferably in acute care or hospital settings.
• BLS certification.
• Experience with mechanical ventilation and arterial blood gas analysis.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in trauma, stroke, neonatal ICU, or cardiothoracic post-operative care preferred.
• Advanced certifications such as ACLS or NRP preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 18:30 - 07:00.
• Night shift schedule.

Impacting Patient Care

As a clinician with our team, you will provide care within a high-acuity hospital environment that includes Level II trauma, comprehensive stroke services, and a Level III NICU. You will support critical care protocols, advanced respiratory therapies, and multidisciplinary care pathways that affect patient outcomes.
