Lead Supervisory Assistant

Under the direction and supervision of the site administrator, the Lead Supervisory Assistant (LSA) is in charge of managing the site Playworks game calendar (under the direction of the site administrator), maintaining the location where lists of the games are posted for students and staff to reference, organizing and maintaining game equipment and storage facilities, and training junior coaches (student leaders) to manage the games during recess. The Lead Supervisory Assistant also monitors the junior coaches during recess and gives them feedback, as well as works with the site administrator to address any concerns, order and maintain equipment, and participate in ongoing training in collaboration with the site PBIS team. LSA assists in the coordination and supervision of children on campus, including playground and eating areas, before school, after school, and during recess and lunch periods. Also helps to direct traffic during drop off/pick up times before and after school. Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
