Key Responsibilities Perform quality assurance inspections of construction activities to verify compliance with contract plans, specifications, and applicable federal standards. Monitor contractor performance and identify deficiencies, non‑conforming work, and potential quality issues. Prepare daily inspection reports, field documentation, and photographic records. Coordinate with government representatives, contractors, and project stakeholders. Review contractor submittals, testing results, and construction documentation. Assist in resolving field construction issues and ensure compliance with contract requirements. Design and Technical Oversight Review construction drawings, specifications, and technical submittals. Verify materials, installation methods, and workmanship meet project requirements. Identify potential engineering issues and communicate findings to project leadership. Support technical evaluations of construction methods and implementation. Construction and Quality Assurance Conduct field inspections of civil works construction including earthwork, concrete, structural components, utilities, and infrastructure systems. Verify materials testing and inspection procedures meet contract specifications. Monitor contractor quality‑control programs and compliance with approved QC plans. Maintain detailed quality‑assurance records and documentation. Project and Field Support Provide on‑site technical support to the Government Resident Office. Participate in project coordination meetings and construction progress reviews. Support project documentation, reporting, and compliance requirements. Maintain communication with project engineers and government representatives. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, or related technical discipline preferred. Minimum five (5) years of construction inspection or quality assurance experience. Experience interpreting construction plans, drawings, and technical specifications. Ability to work in field environments and travel to project sites. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) projects. Familiarity with RMS (Resident Management System). Experience in civil works, flood control, reservoirs, water resources, or military construction. Certifications such as Construction Quality Management (CQM), NICET, OSHA 30, or equivalent. #J-18808-Ljbffr
