Sports Massage Therapist

This Might Be a Good Fit Armored Massage is a growing sports massage and recovery practice in Brookside, Kansas City, and we’re looking for a Licensed Massage Therapist to join our small team. If you love anatomy, exercise, recovery, and helping people actually feel better in their bodies, you’ll probably fit in well here. We’re not a spa. Our clients come to us for sports massage, injury recovery, pain relief, mobility, and ongoing body maintenance. What You’ll Do You’ll provide customized massage sessions based on each client’s needs and recovery goals. You’ll work with active people, athletes, lifters, runners, martial artists, and clients dealing with injuries, pain, or limited mobility. You’ll also help educate clients about what you’re noticing and how they can better support their recovery outside the treatment room. You Don’t Have to Know Everything You don’t have to come in knowing everything, but you do need to be passionate about recovery and wellness to enjoy working here. We’re looking for someone who is genuinely interested in how the body moves, heals, and performs. Sports massage experience is a plus, but curiosity, a willingness to learn, and a recovery-focused mindset matter just as much. If you’re excited by anatomy, exercise, movement, and helping people feel and perform better, you’ll probably feel right at home. If you’re burnt out on the typical spa environment and want to do more focused, results-driven work, we definitely want to hear from you. Why Armored Massage? We’re a small, locally grown business, so you won’t be just another name on a staff list. We handle the branding, website, social media, marketing, and client acquisition so you can focus on your clients and growing as a therapist. We’ve also had the opportunity to work with athletes from Stanford Women’s Soccer, the Australia Women’s National Rugby Team, and the New Zealand Black Ferns. Pay Therapists receive 60% of service revenue plus 100% of their tips. As Armored Massage grows, our goal is to grow your schedule and give you room to develop your own strengths and specialties too. What We’re Looking For You’re a Missouri Licensed Massage Therapist who is reliable, professional, curious, and easy to work with. You care about doing good work. You enjoy learning. You’re comfortable receiving feedback. And you genuinely want to help people recover and move better. Sound Like You? We’d love to meet you.
