Speech Language Pathologist

Speech Language Pathologist at Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Apple Valley, CA. This position is part time and will work 8-hour, Day shift. Responsibilities Evaluates, plans, directs and administers medically prescribed speech/language pathology programs in the hospital to restore function and prevent disability following disease or injury. Assists patient to reach his/her maximum performance and assume a place in society while learning to live within the limits of his/her capabilities. Performs administrative duties and participates in department Performance Improvement, Infection Control, Safety and Education programs. The Staff Speech and Language Therapist may be assigned to orient staff and students and to assume the duties and responsibilities of the supervisor in the absence of that individual.
