Maintenance Lead

Maintenance Lead Location: Phoenix, AZ Summary The Maintenance Lead is responsible for all building maintenance related duties, including supervising warehouse members, conducting floor operations, and complying with safety regulations. The role involves troubleshooting and performing major repairs, maintaining HVAC, plumbing, and cleaning across departments. Work Hours Monday to Friday, 06:00 AM – 05:00 PM; two Saturdays per month, 06:00 AM – 02:30 PM. Seniority Level Mid-Senior Level Employment Type Full-time Compensation $21.75 to $24.75 per hour, overtime at 1.5× base rate. Typical annual total ranges from $54,400 to $71,000, plus overtime and bonuses. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform minor and major building maintenance repairs. Execute carpentry and plastering tasks. Paint, remodel, and repair flooring. Manage installations and demolitions throughout the facility. Conduct equipment checklist and preventive maintenance. Estimate task durations, schedule team members, and ensure project efficiency. Carry out additional duties as required. Education and Experience Requirements High School diploma or GED (preferred). 7–10 years of maintenance experience. Experience in framing, HVAC, plumbing, and possession of a technical certificate (plus). Forklift and warehouse experience (preferred). Computer or tablet proficiency (plus). Metal welding ability (preferred). Troubleshooting skills. Team orientation and minimal supervision. Travel capability as required. Physical Demands Regular use of hands for handling tools and controls; reaching with hands and arms; verbal communication. Frequent walking, standing, and occasional sitting. Regular lifting, pulling, and moving of up to 50 pounds, occasionally up to 70 pounds. Requires close vision. Safety-sensitive position.
