$2692.80/week - Job Summary: The CT Scan Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography to support patient diagnosis and care in a fast-paced, Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center. They ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality imaging services while maintaining strict radiation safety protocols. Responsibilities: Operate and optimize CT imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images. Assist in clinical evaluation and care of patients, including trauma, emergency, outpatient, inpatient, research, and specialized procedures. Enforce radiation safety measures according to New York State Department of Health regulations. Collaborate with medical staff and radiologists to support accurate diagnosis and treatment. Support teaching initiatives and stay current with evolving CT technology and procedures. Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited two-year AMA Radiologic Technology program and high school diploma or equivalent. New York State Registration in Diagnostic Radiography or holding a limited permit. ARRT-registered in Radiologic Technology. Current BLS for Healthcare Providers or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification. Entry-level experience preferred; demonstrated knowledge of CT procedures preferred.
