Radiological Technologist

Job Summary As a Radiologic Technologist, you will operate X‑ray equipment to produce diagnostic imaging. Your responsibilities will include following physician instructions, educating patients on procedures, correctly positioning patients for the best image outcome, following patient shielding procedures, maintaining department inventory, and maintaining proper documentation. You’ll work alongside physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals to produce high-quality imaging. Responsibilities Follow physician instructions Educate patients on procedures Correctly position patients for the best image outcome Follow patient shielding procedures Maintain department inventory Maintain proper documentation Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to produce high‑quality imaging Prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced healthcare environment Qualifications Education and Experience : Graduation from an ARRT‑certified Health Science Program; a minimum of one year as radiography, MRI, or nuclear medicine technologist preferred. Licensure and Certifications : AART certification in Radiography, MRI, or Nuclear Medicine; certification within the state of practice; current BLS certification. Skills : Detailed understanding of X‑ray equipment; strong customer service, interpersonal, problem‑solving skills, attention to detail; efficient, steady under pressure; excellent communicator; ability to work in a team environment.
