Industrial Generator Technician

What You’ll Do Perform repairs and services on all makes and models of generator sets Conduct inspections, repairs, services, and start‑up load bank test requirements on equipment Troubleshoot equipment and services generator components including alternators, wiring harnesses, safety devices, shutdown switches, and battery systems Apply proper engine technical skills in inspection, disassembly, failure analysis, assembly, diagnosis, and engine operating performance tests Repair and troubleshoot engines such as Kohler, Cummins, Detroit Diesel, John Deere, MTU and Volvo Maintain assigned vehicle inventory and be able to travel throughout the local counties Respond to emergency service calls What You’ll Bring 3+ years of service experience with power generation equipment Knowledge of power generation; light tower, pumps, heating products, and transfer switch operations Working knowledge of mechanical design, AC and DC circuitry, power generation, wiring schematics, and connection diagrams Preventative maintenance and service experience with ability to travel locally Valid driver’s license Bring your generator experience— Generac, Kohler, Cummins, CAT, Detroit Diesel, John Deere, MTU, and Volvo.
