Mason Assistant

Ables Landscapes, an award-winning landscaping company with 50 years of experience in Charleston, SC, is seeking a dedicated Mason Assistant to join our team. The Mason Assistant will play a key role in curating hardscapes on high-end residential properties, working closely with team members and clients to ensure the highest standards of service and professionalism. Responsibilities:

• Mix mortar, concrete, and grout with accuracy. 
• Stock bricks, blocks, or stones at the work area. 
• Set up and organize tools. 
• Cleaning tools and machinery, keeping work site tidy.
• Operate power saws, mixers, and basic heavy equipment. 
• Supporting lead mason in assembling structures.

Qualifications: 

• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand, bend, or dig in outdoor weather for long periods of time.
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred) 
• Valid Driver's License (preferred)
• Strong willingness to learn the trade.
