Primary Responsibilities of the Transportation Driver: Operates campus transportation vehicles and related equipment safely and efficiently, following established operating procedures Conducts pre-trip inspections and monitors vehicle performance, Promptly reports maintenance and safety concerns, delays, incidents, and vehicle issues Provides courteous, professional, and responsive customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and other passengers Assists with transportation needs and provides route information Answers questions and addresses concerns in a respectful manner Communicates clearly and professionally with passengers, dispatchers, supervisors, and campus personnel to provide accurate information Coordinates transportation services Carefully follows assigned routes and schedules and monitors passenger safety Accurately completes required transportation records and reports Primary Function of Organizational Unit To provide safe, reliable, and efficient transportation services for students, faculty, staff, visitors, and other authorized members of the campus community.
