Route service manager

We are seeking a confident and enthusiastic person to fill a Route Service Manager role for our client in Columbia, SC. As a Route Service Manager, you will be responsible for delivering products and providing exceptional customer service across a dedicated territory. In this role, you will collaborate directly with dealers to optimize rack inventory, maintain product quality standards, and build solid relationships that support long-term dealer retention. Pay: $22/hr Schedule: Monday - Friday Day Shift Essential Criteria

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensing: Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL), current DOT medical card, and a clean driving record.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year in route delivery and customer service.
• Tech Skills: Working knowledge of electronic inventory tools (tablets, handheld scanners).

Responsibilities

• Route Operations & Delivery: Safely and punctually deliver products, load/unload delivery vehicles, and maintain accurate inventory accounts.
• Account & Inventory Management: Manage dealer accounts including sales, consignments, warranty processing, product rotations, invoicing, and cash collection.
• Dealer Relations: Build solid partnerships, ensure displays remain clean and full, and execute product rotation according to consignment agreements.
• Safety & Compliance: Strictly adhere to Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) policies, safety rules, and driver program requirements.
• Administration: Complete all delivery transactions, route paperwork, and system entries in a timely manner.
