About the Position

Job Title: RN - Operating Room Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Varied Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years in an acute care setting License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, OR Experience Must-Have: Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role: - Strong neuro experience - OR experience in a hospital setting - Neurosurgery experience - 2+ years of hospital/specialty experience Description: MUST HAVE STRONG NEURO EXPERIENCE. Unit highlights include a focus on neurosurgery. Staffing includes 1-2 surgical techs per case. Patient ratios for OR nursing are 1/1. Equipment includes robots, microscopes, and other usual OR equipment. Documentation system utilized is Meditech. Call requirements are applicable. Floating policies are as needed. Candidates must be friendly and compassionate with patients. Dress code requires provided scrubs. Nail policy mandates clean and healthy nails with no gel or artificial options. Hair should be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors. Beards, mustaches, and sideburns should be clean and neatly trimmed. Body art should be covered whenever possible. Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited. Additional guidelines and attendance policies are in place.
