This is a professional registered nurse (RN) position accountable for serving as a member of the medical treatment team. • • Develop and maintain nursing treatment plan, progress notes, flow sheets, and other required documentation
  • Interact with patients as a part of the treatment plan, including social, recreational, and treatment activities in order to provide continuing treatment and rehabilitation
  • Intermittent physical activity including:
  • Walking (100-500 feet; may require rapid response)
  • Standing (15-30 minutes in session)
  • Sitting (15-30 minutes in session)
  • Lifting (35 pounds)
  • Hearing (evaluating potentially dangerous situations; taking blood pressures)
  • Seeing (written instructions, patient behaviors)
  • Speaking (in order to communicate with patients and staff)
  • Make quick decisions and respond promptly and appropriately
  • Demonstrate good manual dexterity
  • Proper use of the telephone or any other equipment employee's use for duty purposes
  • Transcribe medical orders. Administers medications and treatments in compliance with physician orders
  • Assigns, supervises, trains, and evaluates work of ward staff
  • Attends work according to facility policies

Minimum Qualifications:

• A successful candidate must possess a current license to practice as a registered nurse in MO.
  
  
  • Possession of a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Missouri or in accordance with Missouri's Nurse License Compact
