Wi-Fi Firmware Engineer

Salary: $80,000 - 130,000 per year Requirements:

• We are seeking a BS or MS in Computer Science with 5-10 years of experience in embedded firmware development.
• We need extensive experience with wireless products such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or Zigbee.
• We require a strong understanding of IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be MAC and PHY specifications.
• We need extensive C programming experience; Python knowledge is an advantage.
• We require experience with RTOS-based systems.
• We value strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to thrive in a diverse, team-oriented environment.
• We look for a solid history of delivering products and features on schedule.
• Additional desirable experience includes 5-10 years of hands-on work with real-time embedded systems.
• Prior WMAC firmware development experience is required.
• We prefer a strong grasp of IEEE 802.11 specifications and multithreaded embedded system concepts.
• Working knowledge of networking stacks, including Ethernet and the TCP/IP suite, is desirable.
• Experience with Git and Jira is a plus.
• A team-oriented mindset and a strong sense of urgency to meet product timelines are important.
• Knowledge of low-power design and resource-optimization algorithms around traffic models is a strong plus.
