We are in search of a dedicated and compassionate Sonographer / Ultrasound Technologist to join an expanding team of imaging experts devoted to providing high-quality patient care. You will utilize advanced ultrasound technologies to conduct a variety of diagnostic procedures, work alongside a supportive healthcare team, and ensure that patients feel at ease with timely and precise imaging.

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures, articulating each process clearly and with empathy
• Cooperate closely with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the delivery of high-quality diagnostic imagery
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment optimally, promptly reporting any malfunctions
• Keep accurate documentation of all procedures and maintain patient records in the electronic medical system
• Remain informed of the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Current registration from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred

Skills Needed

• Exceptional technical proficiency in sonographic imaging techniques and effective patient positioning
• Strong communication and interpersonal competencies
• Ability to operate autonomously as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, always adopting a patient-centered approach
