Job Overview Position: Respiratory Therapist II Work Shift: Night (United States of America) Responsibilities Administers quality patient care Performs patient assessment and assessment for therapy Collaborates with health care team members in planning patient care Verifies orders and administers aerosolized medication, bronchial hygiene, volume expansion, oxygen, and medical gas therapy Performs arterial blood gas sampling and analysis Assists in invasive and non‑invasive procedures, cardiac service procedures, and pulmonary diagnostic testing Provides customer service Promotes performance improvement initiatives designed to promote quality care Ensures a safe and quality environment Complies with all Wellstar Health System policies, standards of work, and code of conduct Qualifications Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy education program (CoARC or CAAHP) with at least 20 quarter hours of science Bachelor’s degree (required) Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC‑RRT) or Respiratory Care Professional (RCP) 0‑2 years of clinical experience, with at least 6 months in critical care (required) Strong communication, critical‑thinking, and interpersonal skills Computer skills, including familiarity with medical databases #J-18808-Ljbffr Wellstar Health Systems, Inc.
