Senior Project ManagerThe Senior Project Manager is accountable for the management of all aspects of assigned projects, including pre-construction services, transition from estimating through construction execution, and final construction completion, commissioning, and facility warranty. Travel to the geographic regions serviced by CM&B is an expected and required component of the Sr. Project Manager's role. The Sr. Project Manager reports directly to Steve Malenchini, Executive Vice President/Operations Manager.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesLead project team to success by providing clear direction and support to superintendents, field staff, project managers, project coordinators, administration, and accountingManage multiple projects simultaneously, often with short-duration schedules; average project length is 3-12 monthsCreate and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, vendors, and the CM&B teamAccomplish project results through complete comprehension of project scope/project requirements, establishing/maintaining site standards and protocols, allocating and managing project resources, evaluating construction progress, resolving design issues, evaluating/implementing changes, and being resourceful and assertive at all times as a managerProvide pre-construction support in collaboration with the Estimating team, including assisting with conceptual scopes of work, budgeting input, and development of preliminary overall project schedules as assigned.Partner with Estimating to support assigned projects through activities such as subcontractor bid list coordination, quantity take-offs, and input on general conditions, supervision, concrete, carpentry, specialties, and overall project estimates.Prepare and execute construction contracts, including the Owner contract, before construction commencementInsurances/bonding, including confirmation of Owner requirements, initiation of requests for insurance certificates to Owner, and Owner's Builder's Risk Insurance coverageProject permittingPreparation of subcontracts and purchase orders, including scope development, subcontractor/material supplier buy strategies and negotiations, subcontract preparation, and all accountability for required subcontractor deliverables (insurances, supplier/vendor listings, joint check agreements, etc.)Project safety, including management of consultant services, site-specific job hazard analysis, and accomplishment of start-to-finish site safety objectivesTraining & mentoring of new hires and current employeesBenefitsCM&B offers a competitive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance; 401(k)/Roth IRA and company match plan; Life insurance, Long Term & Short-Term Disability; Flexible Spending Account; generous PTO; Team lunches Mondays, Wednesdays, and FridaysCM&B is an Equal Opportunity EmployerRequirementsQualificationsB.S. in Construction Management or related field8+ years' experience in the construction fieldKnowledge of Procore, MS Project, Blue Beam, and Microsoft Office SuiteA valid driver's license; reliable transportationProfessional communication skills with ability to create and maintain strong relationships within the team at CM&B and with outside Clients, Subcontractors and vendorsStrong time management skills with ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines
