Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Overnight Forklift Operator to join our Shipping & Receiving team. This position is responsible for safely operating powered industrial equipment, loading and unloading materials, and supporting warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is safety-minded, dependable, and has previous forklift experience.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, move, and stage materials.
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming shipments.
- Prepare and load outbound shipments accurately and efficiently.
- Transport materials throughout the warehouse and production areas.
- Verify shipment quantities and report discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory and material locations.
- Keep shipping and receiving areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow all company policies and OSHA safety procedures.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
- Previous forklift experience is required.
- Shipping and receiving experience preferred.
- Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, non-climate-controlled environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Reliable transportation and excellent attendance.
- Steel-toed boots required.
- Experience with inventory control or warehouse management systems.
- Experience loading and unloading trailers.
- Ability to work independently while meeting productivity goals.
