Step into an impactful role providing psychological services within a focused educational setting. In this opportunity, you'll serve a single middle school with a tight-knit student body of fewer than 700 students, including approximately 15% receiving exceptional student services. The school’s supportive environment ensures you have a solid start with comprehensive guidebooks, structured orientation led by a lead psychologist, weekly group supervision meetings, and monthly department gatherings. You’ll be part of a collaborative cohort of 18 school psychologists who work together to foster best practices and shared solutions.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Arizona School Psychologist certification is required
• Experience in school-based assessment, consultation, and providing services to middle school students is preferred
• Comprehensive understanding of Exceptional Student Services and re-evaluation processes
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and peers
• Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative department

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide psychological assessments and complete approximately 30 student re-evaluations over the school year
• Engage in consultation and conference meetings, supporting staff, students, and families within the school
• Contribute to student intervention plans and help implement school-wide support programs
• Participate actively in lead psychologist orientation, departmental meetings, and ongoing supervision sessions
• Maintain thorough, timely documentation and reports adhering to school and state guidelines

This is a contract position, running from July 20, 2026 through May 26, 2027. You’ll enjoy a consistent, full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, with the benefit of collaborating alongside an experienced team in a pupil-focused district.
