Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Roving Patrol in Big Bear Lake, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to guests and staff. You will communicate clearly, respond to concerns, and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and team members by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of hotel and resort common areas, entrances, parking areas, guest accommodations, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while communicating professionally with onsite staff and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card or License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
