Locums OB/GYN Federal Way, WA (WA License or IMLC LOQ) Why This Role

Assignment Details
• Start: As soon as credentialed
• Duration: Three to six months
• Setting: Inpatient and outpatient
• Patient mix: Approximately 60 Äì70% obstetrics and 30 Äì40% gynecology
• Clinic volume: Approximately 18 Äì24 patients per day
• Clinic hours: 8:00 a.m. Äì4:45 p.m.
• In-house call: 7:00 a.m. Äì7:00 a.m.
• Schedule: Three clinic shifts and one call shift per week
• Facility can accommodate providers available for select weeks
Obstetric Scope
• Low- and high-risk pregnancies
• Diabetes, hypertension, advanced maternal age, and twins
• Labor and delivery management
• Approximately 1 Äì2 physician deliveries per 24-hour call shift
• Level II nursery with 24-hour staffing
• CNM available around the clock for deliveries, triage, and first assisting
Gynecology Scope
• Annual exams
• Abnormal uterine bleeding
• Contraceptive management
• IUD and Nexplanon placement
• Surgical consultations for fibroids, polyps, and abnormal bleeding
• LEEP and colposcopy
• Emergency department gynecology coverage
Support
• Labor and delivery RNs
• Certified nurse-midwives
• Family Practice physicians with obstetric experience
• MAs, RNs, and LPNs/LVNs
• Sonographer, laboratory staff, and X-ray technician
Requirements
• Board certified preferred; truly board eligible considered
• Active Washington license preferred or active IMLC LOQ
• Current BLS
• Active DEA required during credentialing
• Clean malpractice and background history preferred
• Local or drive-in physicians strongly preferred
Credentialing
• Minimum of approximately 60 days
