Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Job Summary:
Seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care in a medical-surgical unit specializing in respiratory care. The nurse will manage patient needs during 36-hour night shifts, ensuring clinical excellence and adherence to hospital protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately per physician orders.
• Monitor patient responses and update documentation in Epic Electronic Health Record.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to coordinate patient care and ensure safety.
• Float to similar units as needed, maintaining scope and competencies.
• Complete onsite orientation modules and record hours via transcripts.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid OK or Compact RN license at the time of submission.
• Possess 1 year of recent med/surg experience, with emphasis on respiratory care.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Epic charting and hospital protocols.
• Be willing to work 36-hour night shifts and float within scope.
• Meet travel compliance requirements, including RTO listing at submission.
• Have current healthcare certifications such as BLS and ACLS.
