Job Summary:

Operate heavy equipment to load, unload, and move waste materials and feedstock throughout the facility while ensuring safe, efficient operations. Perform routine inspections, basic maintenance, documentation, and coordinate with site leadership and team members to support daily operational needs.

Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy equipment including loaders, excavators, bulldozers, and other machinery as required
• Load, unload, and move waste materials and feedstock throughout the facility
• Perform routine pre-operation inspections and basic maintenance on equipment
• Ensure all operations comply with safety regulations and company policies
• Maintain accurate logs of equipment operation and maintenance
• Coordinate with site supervisors and other team members to support efficient operations
• Keep work areas clean and organized
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately

Skills and QualificationsRequired Qualifications:

• Valid heavy equipment operator certification/license
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience operating heavy equipment
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures
• Ability to read and interpret site plans and work orders
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Physical ability to work in various weather conditions
• Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in waste management, recycling, or industrial facilities
• Forklift certification
• First Aid/CPR certification
• Experience with multiple types of heavy equipment

Working Conditions:

• Full-time position with shift work as required
• Outdoor and indoor work environment
• May require overtime and weekend work

Location: Caldwell, TX

Pay: $30-35/hr (W2)
