Job DescriptionJob DescriptionGarnet Educational Services is searching for an in-home (6 hours per day) Instructional Assistant/Para Professional to work with a student attending online classes at their home in Philadelphia, PA 19141.Duties and Responsibilities:Sit with and assistant student during virtual classes (at home), during school day (6 hours per day)Redirect and encourage focus/keep student attentive during live classesFacilitate class attendance and participation while in classAssist with organizational skills and planning for the school weekWork with behavioral support team to implement behavioral strategiesKeep daily log detailing student progressJob RequirementsMinimum 2 years' post-secondary education OR earned an associate's degree or higherPreferred experience working in a school district, with school aged students or with individuals with special needsMust pass all background checks/clearances for criminal history and child abuse and other school requirements.Please contact us for additional information!
