ABA Behavior Technician Paraprofessional

Job Summary We are seeking a part‑time Behavior Technician (BT) in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). BTs work directly with individuals with Autism and related behavioral challenges, implementing behavioral services under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Key Responsibilities Deliver one‑on‑one in‑home ABA therapy to children with autism Implement behavioral plans developed by a BCBA/LBA Collect accurate data during sessions to monitor client progress Maintain detailed session notes and records Collaborate with the therapy team (BCBAs, other BTs, and parents/guardians) Respond promptly to client, family, and supervisor needs Communicate clearly and effectively with families and supervisors Job Requirements Minimum education: High school diploma or equivalent Experience: At least 1 year working with children or in a related field Related roles include: Paraprofessional, Special Education Teacher/Assistant, Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), Autism Aide, ABA Therapist, Childcare Specialist, Daycare Worker, Direct Care Worker, etc. Strong communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills Knowledge of and adherence to HIPAA confidentiality laws Work Schedule Part‑time: 15–30 hours per week Must be available after school hours and/or weekends Most sessions begin after 3:00 PM Immediate start available in Brooklyn (Brownsville/East Flatbush) Yonkers Long Island City Bushwick Benefits Flexible part‑time or full‑time schedules Sign‑on bonus of up to $250 Multiple openings across all five boroughs #J-18808-Ljbffr A Better Way ABA
