Registered Nurse Emergency Room

$1591.20/week -

Job Summary:

Provide high-quality emergency nursing care in a fast-paced, 24/7 trauma environment, stabilizing and treating acute medical and traumatic conditions. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure rapid assessment and intervention for critically ill patients.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess patients' conditions promptly upon arrival and prioritize care needs.
  
  
• 
  Administer emergency treatments, medications, and interventions according to established protocols.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient vital signs and response to treatments, adjusting care plans as necessary.
  
  
• 
  Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the medical record.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with physicians, technicians, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
  
  
• 
  Adhere to facility policies regarding infection control, safety, and patient confidentiality.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Current Texas RN license required; temporary licenses not accepted.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 2 years of recent ER nursing experience.
  
  
• 
  Valid BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH certifications.
  
  
• 
  Proficiency with Meditech electronic health records system preferred.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  
  
• 
  Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
