Merchandiser I – Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits Territory Location: Middletown, NY Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits seeks a Merchandiser I to perform merchandising activities, construct displays, stock products, and install point‑of‑sale materials within our assigned territory. This role reports to the sales team and supports retail customers. Responsibilities Build displays and update pricing and special offers within an assigned territory. Maintain positive relationships with retail customers. Ensure all company products are properly displayed. Install point‑of‑sale materials as directed. Stock products on shelves, displays, and cold boxes as necessary. Perform other job‑related duties as assigned. Additional Responsibilities Additional duties may include assisting with inventory management and customer service as requested by the sales team. Minimum Qualifications One year of experience in merchandising or related field. Must possess a reliable vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain and maintain auto liability insurance in compliance with SGWS company requirements. Must be at least 21 years of age. Physical Demands May require sitting, typing, mobile device use, walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, stooping. May require lifting, lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 56 lbs. This position is safety‑sensitive; all conditional offers require a drug test. Compensation Competitive hourly rate starting at $20 per hour, with wages based on education, skills, and experience.
