About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Finance and Accounting to lead its core financial and accounting functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence and strategic financial management in a dynamic, high-volume environment. This role involves a hybrid of hands-on accounting tasks and leadership responsibilities, including close collaboration with the CEO and executive team to provide actionable financial insights and drive business growth. Key duties include overseeing tax, audit, treasury, and financial reporting, developing and implementing internal controls, and leading a team of finance professionals in budgeting, forecasting, and KPI reporting. Applicants for the Vice President of Finance and Accounting position at the company should have a Bachelor of Science in accounting, finance, or a related field, with 12-15 years' of progressive experience in accounting and finance. A CPA certification is highly preferred, and experience in high-transaction-volume industries such as FinTech or payments processing is essential. The role requires a candidate with a strong executive presence, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in managing and mentoring teams. Experience with financial systems, particularly NetSuite, and a background in private equity-backed or sponsor-owned companies are also advantageous. The ideal candidate will have an analytical mindset and a collaborative approach to problem-solving and decision-making, and be adept at driving strategic projects to enhance operational efficiency and scalability.
