As a Network Engineer on our team, you'll use your experience in system interoperability, OSI model, and server and network application administration to support the nation's defense. You'll develop specialized infrastructure, troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, and increase security, reliability, and availability for mission-critical network systems. You'll apply your expertise in administration, routing and switching, integration of encryption gear, network design and architecture, and system interoperability as you join our team of problem-solvers to help the Air Force evolve and deploy new capabilities and technologies. Your knowledge of network equipment, emerging technology, and configurations will come in handy as you optimize client operations and modernization. Using your experience in cryptographic equipment, software and hardware firewalls, Cisco hardware and software, Palo Alto hardware and software cloud integration, and SolarWinds, you'll serve as a trusted advisor to clients on mission-critical projects. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
