About the Position

Job Opportunity – Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: September 14, 2026

Location: Stockbridge, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour shifts with 2:1 patient ratio (days, nights, and weekends). Every other weekend coverage required. One 12-hour call shift per schedule. Floating within facility and scope of practice may be required.

Highlights:

• Labor and Delivery unit with 12-bed capacity and average daily census of 5 patients
• Skills include circulating for C-sections and comprehensive labor and delivery care
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation
• First-time travelers accepted with minimum 2 years of experience
• 36 hours of paid orientation provided
• Maximum 7 days of pre-approved time off available (must be finalized at time of submission)

Requirements:

• Current Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
• Experience with 2:1 patient ratios in Labor & Delivery settings
• Ability to circulate for cesarean sections
• Full compliance documentation required prior to start date; all documents due Tuesday before assignment begins
