Chemical Analyst in West Cleveland

Kelly Science & Clinical is currently seeking candidates for a  Chemical Analyst position at a manufacturing facility west of Cleveland OH. The overall responsibility of the position is to provide technical leadership in the laboratory while supporting production and quality activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform chemical sample preparation and analytical testing using laboratory equipment and procedures.
• Provide technical refinement of analytical methods to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Compile and analyze laboratory and plant data to support production and quality objectives.
• Assist with laboratory calibration systems.
• Create and improve quality system procedures, forms, and documentation.
• Support aerospace, customer, and quality audits.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Natural Science, or related field;  or 1–2+ years of relevant analytical laboratory experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Experience with metallographic methods and grain size measurement is preferred.
• Familiarity with aerospace quality systems, including AS9100 and Nadcap is also preferred.
