Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in a Critical Care Unit (CCU) setting. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a CCU setting and will be expected to float to similar Medical/Surgical units as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a Critical Care Unit.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and treatments.
Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in patient needs.
Participate in staff meetings and continuing education opportunities.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

Illinois Registered Nurse License.
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a CCU setting; 3+ years preferred.

Scheduling Details

Shift: Night Shift, 12 hours (19:00 start)
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Orientation: 12 hours of orientation (6 hours non-billable)

About the Role

This position requires flexibility to float between like Medical/Surgical Units as necessary. Candidates should be prepared for weekend shifts and be willing to take on additional responsibilities as part of the nursing team.
